WASHINGTON WEEK 2009

The United States Senate Youth Program Washington Week 2009 will take place March 7 - 14, 2009 in Washington, D.C. The USSYP Annual Senate Reception - where all students can meet and converse with their Senators - will be held on Wednesday night, March 11th from 5-7 pm in the Senate Caucus Room.

The USSYP 2009 Senate Co-Chairs are Senator Thomas R. Carper (D-DE) and Senator Lisa Murkowski (R-AK). The honorary Co-Chairs for the program, as is the tradition since the program's inception in 1962, are the Vice President of the United States in the capacity as President of the Senate and the Senate Majority and Minority Leaders.
